SCHEDULE Free Community Reception:   1:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. Join us for refreshments and activities before the show Performance and Talk-Back:   1:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. The Old Globe invites you to join us for our FREE performance of William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream as part of our annual Globe for All Tour. Globe for All brings professional Shakespeare productions on the road to share the Bard with our neighbors throughout San Diego County. ABOUT THE SHOW Fall under the spell of Shakespeare's most uproarious and popular comedy. Filled with magic, humor, music, and magnificent poetry, this dream unfolds in an enchanted forest where fairies play tricks on unsuspecting lovers, and bumbling actors are transformed beyond their wildest imaginings. Add to this a secret potion that grants love at first sight, and anything can-and does-happen!   THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW A Midsummer Night's Dream runs approximately 90 minutes with intermission. Immediately following the performance, the audience will have the opportunity to engage in a brief conversation with the cast, led by a Globe Teaching Artist. There will be no child care provided. Children are welcome to attend the show with parenteral discretion. RSVP (Ticket) is required. Tickets to this special event are FREE!
